Hello,
I had a bad sensor , which give me the check engine light ,
I took a quick look on the codes,
and give me one code which is , P0056 : Heated oxygen sensor heater circuit low (bank 2 sensor 2)
would the affect the performance of the engine ,
and if i want to turn it off, how can that be done ,
I found this in the program , but not sure if it's the right place, so I did not change anything yet (please see attachment )
if I am in the right place , which option should be unchecked to turn off the light because of that error .
Thanks .

Re: tuning off o2 sensors
The front and rear heater circuits are both tied into the same code so there is no way to independently disable the heaters. The best strategy is to ensure that the wiring on your sensors is good and if the heater has really failed, then replace the sensor. The disable function in FastWorks disables reading the sensor values, not the hardware checks on the heaters.

Re: tuning off o2 sensors
thanks for your answer,
just to make sure I get you right ,
the only way to turn of that light is to replace the sensor(S)
there is no way to bypass them to turn it off .

Re: tuning off o2 sensors
The best solution is to replace the sensor assuming the problem isn't just a wiring problem. Second to that you could install a resistor to trick the circuit but that's overly complicated when a new sensor is only $60.

Re: tuning off o2 sensors
you might have seen my post on the Club4G
the dealer here is asking about 250USD EACH sensor , ill end up paying over 1000 for all the sensors down there .
I did look for them online , cant fine any oem sensors for 60, best I could find was a bouch sensors for around that price , would you recommend them ?
Thanks

Re: tuning off o2 sensors
Ouch! I think the bosch sensors are fine as long as they are real bosch not the chinese clones. I'm used to aftermarket direct fit sensors. Before you go changing them make sure you test the sensor properly to ensure it's not a wiring issue.
