Cannot Recover ECU

Post by Machine104 » Sun Oct 13, 2013 11:42 pm

Mike,

When we last spoke it had been established that I needed to order the mitsu flash adapter for the tactrix cable. I received it, but it still will not recover the ECU. I also still get the "your license does not match this VIN number" error when choosing the "connect to ECU" option.

What VIN number does the ECU show in the vehicle info screen? Is it yours? Is it present or is it just wrong?

Okay, so here are the present issues. When I attempt to connect to the ECU, I get the following error: Image

And when I try to recover the ECU, as you said I needed to when I last got support from you, it shows this for a few seconds: Image

and then this error comes up: Image

Ok, I'll look into that. Not sure why but I've found one other guy recently who had a laptop that would randomly not flash. The 1.00 release of the software has a completely different flash module in it so I suspect it will not suffer the same issues.

Sounds good. Where can I get that release?

Still working on it. At this point the new version of the software is still lacking datalogging. I've also been trying to address the things that get people stuck the most. I'm a little hesitant to send something out until it's well tested, but the first testing version should be ready within a week.
