2004 ralliart ecu

Post by RacerX_Ralliart » Tue Jan 08, 2013 4:40 pm

So what's the deal with having to send in 2004 model ECUs to get reflashed? I was ready to dish out the money for the tune but I need my car I can't have it down waiting for a ecu.. I could always buy a extra ECU but I can't find one for manual transmission... I have the cable and a laptop ready...

The way I ended up getting my 2004 flashed was I put $300 down and hackish send me a 2005 flashed ecu. He refunded the $300 after I sent him back my 2004 ecu.

o ok that doesnt sound to bad so total would be around 800 than minus 300 after i send in the loaner... i would prolly have to do it twice for when i need a turbo tune down the road.... I wonder if michael could put it in english for us.......

At the moment only the 2004 models need to be sent in. The reason is that they need to have their VIN numbers properly coded in as Mitsubishi didn't do this from the factory.
