I bought a dash display unit for the purpose of trying to change it. Ultimately, it is controlled via an "alpine" bus that's separate from the ECU so it really can't be changed. Sorry.

Just a quick note, as the license server is down for an urgent security update. While it should have taken an hour, a database update was also necessary so it will be down until Friday. If you need to update your fastworks license, this will affect you.
The image above was from a very old version of the software, so yes, it has been changed to read "templates". The system needs to be installed on the ECU, and part of that installation process upgrades your ECU to the latest version released by Mitsubishi. If the system does not download the latest ...

This was a problem from 3 years ago. I will try to reproduce it here and see if the latest software release has re-introduced the problem. If you're not getting any action from this, check the vehicle info screen. If you don't see patch level listed then your software is out of date and you should install a newer version. If you see a patch level below 3, then your ecu file is out of date.

Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be a lot of interest. I was going to purchase a car and do the R&D. I bought a bunch of ECUs and figured out how to flash them. Maybe when things quiet down in a month or so I'll be able to re-visit the flashing module.
