Re: Problem connecting

I've never seen an error where nothing happens clicking download templates. Can you post the version of the software you're running?

Re: Problem connecting

The image above was from a very old version of the software, so yes, it has been changed to read "templates". The system needs to be installed on the ECU, and part of that installation process upgrades your ECU to the latest version released by Mitsubishi. If the system does not download the latest ...

Re: Bad ecu

At the moment, although fastworks can change the VIN, it cannot update the immobilizer codes in the ECU. This is being worked on, but there isn't a firm release date yet.

Re: Please Help trying to install fastworks to 4g eclipse

This was a problem from 3 years ago. I will try to reproduce it here and see if the latest software release has re-introduced the problem. In the meantime, you could try the following, which is an older version, but has been used for hundreds of installs. https://www.dropbox.com/s/37o7xutrac5i824/se...

Re: All about launch control...

If you're not getting any action from this, check the vehicle info screen. If you don't see patch level listed then your software is out of date and you should install a newer version. If you see a patch level below 3, then your ecu file is out of date.

Re: 2006+ R18 Civic support

Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be a lot of interest. I was going to purchase a car and do the R&D. I bought a bunch of ECUs and figured out how to flash them. Maybe when things quiet down in a month or so I'll be able to re-visit the flashing module.

Re: New tune

Generally, the workflow is that a ticket is generated for me when the email request is received. I process it, and either ask for more info or send whatever was requested and the ticket is closed. If I ask for more info but no response is received the ticket is closed. Just so you know, I'm running ...

Re: Next purchase suggestion?

Hi, Fuel additives haven't really shown significant gains. If you're interested in making significant horsepower gains then forced induction is really the best solution. Otherwise, you can spend the same number of dollars on small bolt-on upgrades where each makes single digit gains. I have a custom...

Re: Base Map/Tune?

The basemap is downloaded when you perform your installation, as is the recovery file in case the flashing process were to fail. They are normally saved in your documents/fastworks/tunes folder. There are some issues with the Lancer installation that I expect to be resolved with the next software re...
